How can we help?

Email sirrustudio@gmail.com with a question, a problem or an idea. Or send it from inside the app (below).

Send feedback from the app

  1. On Today, tap the round button at the top right.
  2. Tap Send feedback. (It's also in Settings, under About.)
  3. Pick Something broke or An idea, write your message and tap Send.

Your email is optional. Leave it blank and your feedback is anonymous. For a bug, you can switch on Attach app state to send how your groups are set up, and read all of it first under See what's sent. The privacy policy lists exactly what a report includes.

Restore Refund Pro

On a new phone, or after deleting and reinstalling Refund:

  1. On Today, tap the round button at the top right, then Settings.
  2. Tap the Refund Pro card at the top (See plans).
  3. Tap Restore at the bottom of the screen.

Use the same Apple ID you bought Refund Pro with.

Cancel Refund Pro

In Refund: Settings, then Cancel Refund Pro under Your plan. Three short steps (why you're leaving, an offer, which group to keep), then Refund opens Apple's subscription screen, where you finish cancelling.

Or on your iPhone: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Refund.

Refund Pro stays on until the end of the time you've paid for. After that you keep the free plan: you choose one group with one app to keep. The others are switched off (saved, and back as they were if you go Pro again) or deleted, whichever you pick.

Payments go through Apple, so refunds do too. You can ask Apple for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Stop Refund stepping in on an app

  1. Open the Apps tab and tap the group.
  2. Tap Remove this group.

A group doesn't disappear straight away: it stays on for the wait the group was set up with (from an hour to three days; the app tells you which), then it's removed. You can cancel the removal before then. In an emergency, Emergency: remove now skips the wait. You get one of those a week.

Delete your data

Your groups, settings, notes and pause history are stored only on your phone. Deleting Refund deletes them.

iOS keeps one small record after the app is deleted, in your iPhone's Keychain: when Refund was first installed, which versions you've had, when Refund Pro first started and how many times it's been reinstalled. Refund uses it to recognise a returning install. It never leaves your phone.

The only things we hold are feedback you chose to send and, if you joined it, the Android waitlist. Email sirrustudio@gmail.com and we'll delete either.

What Refund needs

  • An iPhone with iOS 18 or later. Refund isn't on iPad.
  • Screen Time access, which you give during setup. If it's ever switched off, Today shows that Refund is paused: tap it to fix it.
  • Not on Android yet. Get told when it is.
